What will I learn in the Sip and Soap Making Workshop?
Participants will learn the basics of soap making, including how to work with different soap bases, blend fragrances, colorants, and incorporate organic botanicals into their creations. The workshop covers both the creative and scientific aspects of soap making, ensuring a well-rounded experience.
How long is the workshop?
The workshop lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, providing ample time for learning, crafting, and enjoying the process.
What is included in the workshop fee?
The fee includes all materials needed to create 3-4 bars of soap, expert instruction, a selection of over 15 hypo-allergenic essential and fragrance oil blends, mineral colorants, premium soap bases, organic dehydrated botanicals, and a Beaute Loft Beaute bag to take your creations home. Bottomless mimosas are available for an additional $14.99 per person.
Can I choose the types of soap I make?
Absolutely! We encourage creativity. You'll have a selection of soap bases, fragrances, colorants, and botanicals to choose from to make your soap uniquely yours.
Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?
No, all materials and tools are provided. Just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! If you purchased a Groupon, be sure to have that with you.
Can I bring my own beverages?
We do not allow outside food and drinks during our social workshops. Refreshments and extras are available for purchase at the time of booking and must be reserved in advance.
Can I bring my own refreshments?
Absolutely, you're welcome to bring light refreshments to the workshop! Light refreshments include snacks or small finger foods that don't need heating or refrigeration, such as cookies, fruit slices, or crackers. Please avoid bringing hot meals, large platters, or items requiring extensive setup to keep the class environment comfortable for everyone. If anything beyond light refreshments is brought, we may request those items be stored away during the class. Our aim is to ensure a pleasant and focused experience for all participants. Can I have a private event?
Celebrations are always welcome at The Beaute Loft! You can schedule your own private soap making class here.
What if I have allergies to certain ingredients?
Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies. We offer a variety of hypo-allergenic options, including agave and glycerin soap bases for those with shea butter or nut allergies.
Are reservations required or do you accept walk-ins?
We are currently not accepting walk-ins. We highly recommend purchasing and booking your reservation in advance.
What if someone in my party doesn't want to make anything?
At this time, no observers allowed in this session, all seats must be paid for. In order to experience The Beaute Loft in the best way possible, we recommend reserving a seat for each guest attending.
Is there an age limit for the workshop participants?
No, participants must be 18 years or older to attend the workshop alone. Children between the ages 6+ are allowed to sip and soap with a chaperone. One adult chaperone is required for each children under the age of 18.
Will I receive anything after the workshop?
Yes, in addition to taking home the soap you make, you'll receive a 10% off coupon valid on all The Beaute Loft products to use on your next visit or purchase.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. You can cancel up to 48 hours before the workshop for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop will not be refunded and must be rescheduled.
How can I change my reservation?
If you need to make any changes to your reservation (date, time, number of seats, etc.), please contact us via 586-315-3994 and we'll take care of you!
Can I take my soap home with me after making?
Our soaps are ready for use immediately after making. Once you are done making, we allow your soaps to settle, apply your label and prepare your gift to take with you. While your consultant prepares your gifts, You can stay and enjoy the ambiance and all that The Beaute Loft has to offer (after your workshop). Remember you use your 10% off on studio stock.
Can I make more than one bar of soap?
The reservation includes 3-4 bars of soap, depending on the molds you choose. If you would like another set, just let one of our team members know when you arrive and they can arrange your additional supplies and payment.

Yes, please visit us at our Flagship location, visit experiences page or call us at 586-315-399 to purchase soap making supplies or kits.
